VBS & Youth Vision Seminar 2021, Summer

Vacatuion Bible Study for NK refugee children

NGI hosted its first English Vacation Bible School for elementary school students. VBS was only offered to youths and young adults, but this time God opened the door for elementary school students to participate in 3-day VBS with the theme of God/Jesus/Holy Spirit

The students received the daily messages from the children’s pastor Hyejin Lee, and Jarid, an English teacher at Haven Christian School, did a puppet show to deliver the gospel in ways easily understandable for the kids.

Karen, a volunteer at the program, taught the students English praise songs every day and did her very best in delivering the gospel to the students with the theme of God’s love.

The students who attended the program online received a care package kit (including name tags, schedule, Biblical materials, snacks, crafts, etc.) in order to actively participate in the program.

For the students in VBS, the kindergarten ministry at Yewon Church located in Gangseo province (in charge: Jeongran Han) sent care packages including gifts, Bible study materials, and crafts.

We were truly thankful for the times spent with the students as we were able to meet with their parents as well and deliver the love of Jesus to those who didn’t have faith.

Youth Vision Seminar

From August 4th to 5th, NGI hosted our Vision Seminar for middle and high school youth and college students.

The program consisted of lectures given by Jinsun Shin, who is a program director at a broadcasting company, and Namsoo Kim, who is a vision coach working at Samsung Electronics for over 20 years. We started the seminar with praise and worship. The main theme for both lectures was work and faith: how to live in the world as a Christian and to find and achieve dreams and vision in the future. The talks were especially valuable because the speakers gave practical advice and shared their personal experiences.
