Kenna's Closet Help us put a smile on a child's face! We donate half of our clothes to Orchard's Orphange and sell the other half online and at our store.

Welcome to Kenna's Closet!

We own a huge store full of clothes for all children. Donate clothes your children have grown out of and buy clothes for them on our website or from our store in Michigan.

Our store in Sterling Heights, MI
"I bought eight different super cute outfits for my little girl here for a total of $17!!!"
We even sell and donate shoes!

Our Story

We began our story in 1993 when we adopted a beautiful little girl named Maria from Orchard's Orphange. She moved into our house with two shirts, three pairs of pants, and one pair of shoes. We knew wanted to be able to provide more clothing for Maria and all of the children at Orchard's. So we started a little clothing drive in 1994. We had so many people donating clothes at our clothing drive that we knew we needed to start a store so we would be able to donate clothes to even more little children! We donate half of our clothes to Orchard's and sell the other half online and at our store. All of these proceeds go to orphanages in Michigan. Just imagine all the happy faces you'll get to see when you donate the clothing that your children have grown out of!

All of our clothes are gently used and super cute!

"My husband and I adopted a 7 year old boy named Austin last year. We went to Kenna's Closet to buy him some new clothes. They gave us 11 shirts, 9 pairs of pants, 3 pairs of shorts, and 4 pairs of shoes for $10! We love shopping at Kenna's Closet."

Maria and Madeline

The above picture is of our sweet adopted daughter Maria and our youngest daughter, Madeline, who we also just recently adoted. We now have our store split into a 5 years old and above section and five years old and below section. Maria helps sort through all the clothes on the 5+ section and Madeline loves sorting through all of the clothes and toys in the 5 and below section. Kenna's Closet has now assisted over 3,330 children in orphanages. Help us reach ever more children!

Who benefits from Your Clothes?

Over 50 kids stay at each orphanage and we like to have at least two outifts to give to each kid when we visit an orphanage. So it takes approximately 6 months to be able to gather that many outfits. But with your help, we could do it faster! We have donated to 60 orpahanges even outside of Michigan. Help us reach farther! Some orphanages we give to regularly:

  • Abbot House
  • Angel House
  • Above Kids
  • Bellefaire Orphanage
  • Central Children's Home of North Carolina
