2. There was 7,462 incidents in 2015

3. Only 19% of hate crimes are due to religion

4. 49% of all hate crimes are due to different races being affected

5. After 9/11 hate crimes almost doubled

There are multiple ways to stop hate crimes. You can report them, teach the youth bias awareness, mentor young minority children, offer support to victims, and start a conflict resolution program.

A teen in Chicago was tortured on Facebook live because he was special needs. These four individuals are being charged with theft, possession of stolen motor vehicle, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
