Information Technology

Information Technology Services (ITS) works to ensure that THD’s IT infrastructure (networks, servers, databases, computers, email, phones) are working properly and are secure so that staff can meet the needs of the clients. ITS provides support to 334 staff members throughout our three regional locations and our seven satellite sites in addition to supporting community partner needs at THD locations through the HelpDesk operations. ITS puts technology in place to enhance IT security and HIPAA compliance throughout the agency to protect client’s information. IT works to provide confidentiality, data integrity and systems availability as well as disaster recovery and business continuity so there is little to no disruption of services.

The IT team contributes to THD’s mission to improve health and well-being in Tulsa through the support of all information technology operational needs for the agency.

The IT department was faced with replacing a fifteen-year-old phone system. Including phone systems of various types at our outlying locations. RingCentral offered THD the benefit of having a unified cloud-based phone system and remote worker flexibility. Over the previous year, IT has worked in unison with all THDs programs to complete the difficult task of moving to a new phone system.

The introduction of Office 365 to THD has significantly improved ITS capabilities. Since migrating email to Office 365, the availably of the service has increased to 99.99%. You can now access Outlook anywhere with an internet connection. Over the next year, IT will continue rolling out Office 365 services.
