My concentration is focused on animals, insects, and other organisms that are in a biome of its own. The art is created in a surreal style. My art creates movement with a large amount of detail. All the organisms coexist in there own biome that there trying to live with. Certain animals are fighting to survive in there biomes like in “The Bat King” the bat being taken over by the undergrowth and in “Hydra” the two headed snake being pulled down by vines. The artwork of renaissance oil painters gave me the idea of putting a halo around certain animals to show their significance. The animals also show mimicry like how in “Pray” the orchid mantis hides for the caterpillar. The animals and plants are also connected most of the plants in “The Bat King” are carnivorous plants expressing how the biome there on don't last forever. I have grown from adding values to my art. The first art I made was “The Watcher” and it was with color and not much value change. Now I have added more value change that makes the creatures pop out and show a deep contrast between light and dark objects like “The Midnight Scare”.

- My most important skills I have drawn from was to get as much detail as I could in each piece and use my knowledge of animals to influence my art.
- The most successful aspects of my art was how I was able to fuse surreal art and modern art together. My art was centered around things you could pass by and not know what it is, but then come back to it and see the tiny details.
- The most important things that I learned in AP Studio Art was to work through your struggles and make art that you can have a deep connection to.
- I would give the advice of get your art done as soon as possible, don't cut corners, and make art that you will like.
