It was a Sunday morning and Sarah and I set off for Monikie Country Park in Angus. The weather was overcast with a tiny bit of sun trying to sneak through. The park itself was fairly busy at the usual spots for BBQ's, feeding the ducks and lots of doggos having a blast but we walked around the outskirts getting our steps in and looking out for wildlife.
FLY FISHING
The lake was filled with plenty of boats with folks either fishing or just relaxing and drinking out of a flask. As we walked around and we edged closer to the border between the two waters this is where we discovered a "hive" of acitivity...
THE BEES!!!
The flowers were electric with activity, bees galore!!! They were constantly buzzing from flower to flower spending no more than a few seconds on each one.
Once the Bee photoshoot was completed we walked around some more and ventured into the woods the wildlife was certainly noisy but refusing photos at this time :P
The walk was really nice and will be great in Autumn when the leaves start to turn and those awesome colours start to be displayed.
If you get a chance we would highly recommend Monikie Park for a nice relaxing stroll. Plenty of spaces to explore with safe and sturdy paths for walking on too.
