Negative Effects of Homeschooling Brandy Williams

Parents should choose traditional schooling for their children. Some homeschoolers report feeling isolated because they do not have as many opportunities to participate in social activities as students in traditional schools do.

School sports, especially in high school, are great opportunities for children and adolescents to build relationships with others, and develop skills for working together.

Working together with other students during high school can be beneficial and enjoyable for students. There are more opportunities for this collaboration in traditional schools.

Working and socializing with other students during high school can help prepare students for working together in college and future careers.
