Who needs Starbucks when you can make D.I.Y breakfast bites? This is a perfect, tasty snack to freeze and pop in the toaster before eight a.m. classes.
First you are going to need a few simple ingredients. You will need shredded cheese, three eggs, cream, turkey (or regular) bacon and phyllo dough shells.
Next, we are going to put a few pieces of bacon on the stove and cook until crispy. You can start with three or four pieces depending on how many cups you are going to make.
Take out your phyllo dough cups, and start to add your toppings in. Add your bacon bits, but it does not stop there. For those who aren't picky eaters, you can add spinach, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes or any other toppings you would put in an omelet.
Pour your scrambled eggs into a measuring cup so it is easy to pour. Start to pour the eggs on top of the ingredients until pretty close to full.
You can even make ones without the phyllo dough cups for a healthier approach. These are just as good.
Next, set the oven to 375 degrees, sprinkle some extra cheese on top and you're ready to pop them in the oven.
