Logo Concept #2
HEPTAGONAL ARROW
This concept utilizes an abstract representation of a compass and directional arrow. The 7-sided geometric shape surrounding the arrow is known as a heptagon. The design choice for using such a shape rests in a two-fold desire: to create visual interest and to represent a theological significance.
From a Evangelical theological standpoint, the number Seven is used throughout Scripture as a representation of perfection, completeness, or fullness. The heptagonal shape of the logo serves as a reference to this idea. THRIVE ADVENTURES wants to help others experience life as it should be, in all of the fullness that God has intended.
The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have lifeālife in all its fullness. (John 10:10 - GNT)
The "T-shaped" arrow can be loosely seen as the first initial of the ministry of THRIVE and points upward towards Christ as its True North.
The red-orange color of the logo was chosen to represent the blood Christ shed so that we might have life as well as the fiery passion with which THRIVE carries out its mission and calling. The rounded edges of the logo and typeface create a very modern and inviting feel.
This concept is very simplistic yet innovative, intriguing, symbolic, and bold.
