Student Academic Excellence Award: Robert James “RJ” Kupsho III
Established in 2007, this award is presented annually to a graduating physical therapy student who has demonstrated the highest cumulative grade point average (GPA) throughout the professional phases of program study. The academic excellence award recognizes the exceptional ability of the student in the comprehension, integration, and application of information garnered from a curriculum comprised of foundational sciences and clinical coursework.

Established in 2007, this award is presented annually to a graduating physical therapy student who has excelled not only in the classroom but also has been an engaged, active member of the college community. The leadership award recognizes a student who has been judged by the faculty to be an outstanding student as demonstrated by academic performance, departmental and school activities, professional service, and community involvement.
Roger Nelson Research Award: Kelsey Harrison
This award was established in 2011 in honor of Roger Nelson, PT, PhD, FAPTA. Dr. Nelson, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Physical Therapy at Lebanon Valley College, exemplifies the passion and pursuit of excellence in evidence-based research. Over the years, Dr. Nelson has instilled in faculty, clinicians, and students alike, the qualities associated with being an effective contributor and consumer of scholarly articles, that serve to advance the physical therapy profession. The Roger Nelson Research award is given annually to a student, who has been deemed by the faculty to exceed academic requirements by his/her commitment to evidence-based practice and clinical research.
Distinguished Student Award: Patrick Younes
The distinguished student award is presented to the individual who is selected by their peers as having demonstrated exceptional leadership, collegiality and an unwavering commitment to physical therapy education.
