START UP A STARTUP. President of Launch Club Jeremy Ng advertises his entrepreneurship club during assembly period on Sept. 12. Last year, Launch Club participated in Polsky's Innovation Showcase and one team qualified for the Global Demo Day at MIT. The club meets every Friday at lunch.

SPREAD THE LEARNING. Senior Alex Stamatakos introduces Girls Learn International to sophomores Annika Ludwig and Ella Mazurek. Girls Learn International, a nonprofit organization, was founded in 2003 to promote education for all children. Students can attend the club on Fridays at lunch to spread awareness on unsuitable learning conditions and fundraise to improve them.

TRY IT FOR FIVE POINTS. Senior Roisin Gilbert presents Rugby Club to Sana Shahul while she munches on popcorn. The club started last year to build the rugby community at Lab and Chicago. No experience is required to join the group, which meets Thursdays at lunch.

MAKE SOMEONE SMILE. Cookie in hand, sophomore Lilly Coe signs up for Operation Smile. Operation Smile was founded in 1982 to provide surgeries to children with cleft lip and cleft palate. The new club will meet every Tuesday at lunch.
