Summer Camp in Minneapolis

Little Folk Summer Camp, located in the Longfellow neighborhood in Minneapolis, provides a nourishing, creative and relaxing summer experience for kids age 4-8.

As a longtime experiential educator, it is my delight to watch and support children as they follow a path that compels them. -Little Folk leader Anna Sharratt
Little Folk is OUTDOOR - BACKYARD - SLOW-PACED - CREATIVE

Learning doesn't stop in the summer. In fact, when children have the chance to pursue their own interests, curiosity and creativity come alive!

Little Folk Summer Camp FAQ

What do the kids do all day?

The morning starts with free play / maker time with loose parts, a mud and wood chip kitchen, supervised use of basic tools, and process-oriented art projects. We take picnic lunches to nearby Bracket Park or trails along the Mississippi, where we also have after-lunch reading time on blankets and in hammocks. Afternoons are spent at Brackett Park, playing ball, climbing trees, or playing at the playground or wading pool. Except in cases of extreme weather (lightning, tornadoes, etc.) Little Folk Summer Camp takes place outdoors.
