OUR GUIDE TO WORKING FROM HOMERemove the ‘wtf’ with our ‘wfh’ guide
Always make sure you're dressed by 8:30am in preparation for the out-of-the-blue Zoom/Teams video calls – we’ve all been caught out at least once, right?
You’ve heard of a ‘home away from home’, now what you need is a ‘work away from work’! For those not lucky enough to already have a dedicated work area, find a quiet spot that's free from distractions and has plenty of space for your devices and chargers.
In current times, it’s so important to keep washing your hands thoroughly - but also remember to dry them before going back to your desk, especially if you're using a company laptop...
Missing City lunches? Head to Sainsbury's to stock up on their Wasabi range (alongside your other weekly essentials)!
Check your phone calendar regularly to remember what day of the week it is. Set a reminder to not work on the weekends if you need to!
Don't forget to get up and step outside every once in a while to stretch your legs and make sure the outside world is still there!
Keep in touch with your team beyond just lengthy emails – Microsoft Teams, Slack and WhatsApp are all great ways to have a quick catch-up with your work besties.
Finally, take a break! If that's with a KitKat, then by all means go for it, tea breaks are always better with a chocolatey fix anyway!
