Miranda Rueda is 17 years old. Everyone knows her as a happy person. At the age of 9 her dad left to Mexico. “My mom would always tell me mean stuff like she didn’t love me” says Rueda. Rueda was left with her mom here in the U.S. Time flew by... She’s now 12 years old. Now that her dad left she’s all alone with her mom. Her mom was mean to her. Rueda preferred to be with her grandma. At the age of 12 Ruedas mom left to Mexico. Now Rueda is living with her grandparents. She basically grew up with her. “I thought I wasn’t going to have anyone I thought I was going to be alone” says Rueda. At a young age she was going into depression. Rueda started going to therapy. At the age of 15 her grandpa passed away...
Rueda has been doing Danza for 7 years. At the age of 16 her dad came to surprise her. “He gets deported again and they told him if he doesn’t volunteerly go he’s going to spend the next 10 years in jail so he decided to just leave.” She’s now 17. She was diagnosed with anemia. Miranda didn’t know she had anemia until she went to the ER due to a big pain she was having. Rueda has anxiety attacks. She gets them out of no where and starts to cry. Remember to always confort her when it happens. “Life is great I’m going to graduate something my sister didn’t do and I gotta show people that anything is possible.” Rueda manages to do all these extra stuff besides school. If you know Miranda she’s known for always being happy and loud. Rueda has the biggest heart.
