Results of phase III trial of Oxford COVID-19 vaccine
The results of the ChAdOx1 nCoV-2019 vaccine trial have been announced:
- participants given half a dose followed by a full dose: 90% efficacy
- participants given 2 full doses: 62% efficacy
- observed reduction in asymptomatic infections
- no hospitalised or severe cases in anyone who received the vaccine
- the vaccine can be stored at 2-8 °C and distributed using existing logistics
Arrangements for students travelling home at the end of term
Interim information on arrangements for the University to safely support students to return home at the end of Michaelmas term has now been published online
