Prescott Newsletter special edition - 55th anniversary

A group of British, American and Peruvian citizens dreamed of a co-educational school that would provide comprehensive education of high academic standards and intensive education in English.

This dream came true in April 1965, in a small house in Vallecito, where Anglo Americano Prescott School was born, with its first classrooms for four- and five-year-old children.

Every May 4, we celebrate the anniversary of our School, commemorating William Prescott’s birthday.

This 2020 we commemorate the 55th anniversary of our School and even though we have to celebrate it while physically distant, we are joined by the excitement of sharing with our family and joyfully celebrate one more anniversary of our dear Prescott.

We have taken this distance as an opportunity to give way to creativity!

From home, we find the best way to virtually celebrate through videos and special publications.

Live again this meaningful celebration with us!

Serenading our School

On Sunday, May 3, the whole Prescott Community sang from home a special serenade to our School. In a special video, students, parents, teachers and alumni joined their voices and chords to sing the verses of that piece that identifies us with Prescott: our school song.

The fusion of instruments such as the piano, the guitar and the drums, resulted in a rock version of our school song.

A special video that made the whole Prescott Community sing from our homes!

Video: 55 years walking non-stop

On the central day, Prescott Community awoke to a touching video that made us all long for those moments we lived every day at our School, but most importantly, it filled us with pride and made us remember that we are a strong School, that walks non-stop and before any challenge, we always look ahead with great optimism.
