WHOlives Change the Stories.

In 2020, 2.1 billion people wake up each morning without access to clean water. Each year, 3.4 million people lose their lives to the lack of access to safe, uncontaminated water. Nearly 6,000 of these deaths, are children, losing their lives to water-related diseases and infections. With WHOlives, you can change this.

What is WHOlives?

WHOlives is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing clean water to developing communities in a sustainable process. Without water, survival is not possible.

WHOlives:

  • has 103 drills in operation
  • is actively working in 36 countries
  • has drilled 6500+ wells
  • has changed the lives of 6 million people

This is Cheru

She walks nearly 3 and a half hours to walk 5 miles round trip at least once a day to collect dirty water from a watering hole. When there's no water at the first spot, Cheru and the other children of her village walk an additional 6 miles to a crocodile-infested river to find water of similar low quality.

Cheru is sick very frequently. Because of the dirty water she drinks every day, she often has stomach problems, headaches, nosebleeds, and bloody stool.

Cheru does not have time to go to school. Every day is shaped by the walk for water.

She is 5 years old.

This is Kamama

She is 5 years old. In 2015, a clean water spout was donated to her village. Since then:

  • School attendance has jumped from 200 to 500 students. Kamama herself returned to school as well.
  • Deaths from preventable sicknesses have gone down.
  • Overall hygiene has improved.
  • Happiness and the feeling of community have become stronger.

Kamama has the potential for an amazing life because of the simple gift of clean water.

WHOLives strives to change the all-too-frequent stories like Cheru's to stories like Kamama's. WHOLives is committed to bringing clean water to developing countries in a sustainable way.

Your Donation Brings Change with the Village Drill

WHOlives has already changed the lives of 6 million people by donating access to clean water. As we have seen, a little goes a long way.
