Book of the Month
Radical Hope: A Teaching Manifesto, authored by Kevin M. Gannon, explores how the problems that plague postsecondary institutions are opportunities for critical engagement. When institutions examine the problems correctly, teaching becomes emancipatory and hopeful. Gannon combines theory with practical strategies to reclaim teachers’ essential role in the discourse of higher education.
🆕LockDown Browser + Instructor Live Proctoring
Our institutional license with Respondus Monitor includes a new Instructor Live Proctoring feature that enables instructors to use a video conferencing system (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet) for live, remote testing. LockDown Browser prevents cheating on the computer or device itself, while the instructor watches students via video conferencing. This mode of testing is recommended for small, synchronous classes where instructors can effectively manage and observe students during the exam. For additional information, visit Instructor Proctoring.
