TREOW A diary of a treow (tree)

??/??/?? - ??:??

Basking in the rays of the sun, taking in the moisture from the earth.. It's been a great start to another day. The neighboring trees and bugs have done their usual. However, there's news from migrating crows of something new. Quite exciting, if I say so myself. To introduce a new member to our thriving community. Even Mother Treow is looking forward to meeting them. I think the only thing I could really warn them of are the rabbits and deer that keep eating our leaves. It takes us months to grow them but they keep eating my hard work.

NOTE

Within this diary of a plant, I wanted to empathize with nature and convey our impact on our Earth so far. Although we are not intentionally (most of us) trying to kill nature, our carbon footprint has affected our climate greatly. Some may believe that climate change is a hoax or simply not real but there has been clear evidence, that our planet is rising in temperature. It is frightening to believe that if we would continue or worsen our actions, one day Earth would be inhabitable. As of lately, there has been an increase of signs of our changing climate - melting Artic polar caps, rising temperature, irregular temperatures and etc. Researchers believe that even if we were to stop our carbon emissions all together, it would not prevent but we can slow it down with other efforts. If you would like to know more, please feel free to educate yourself on the issue. Click on the link below to learn more.

I hope you enjoy my small story/diary and take something with you as you read this.
