J’ai pris un peu de temps mais voici le plan pour ton labyrinthe fait sur mesure:

J’ai essayé d’imaginer le chemin habituel que tu sui dans ton appartement et de le revisiter. On a tendance à choisir des raccourcis, surtout lorsque l’on passe un temps prolongé dans un même endroit, pour allez d’un bout de la pièce à l’autre. J’ai donc réinventer une route qui ne serrais pas instinctive. Dans ce labyrinthe, peut-être découvriras-tu ton appartement sous un autre jour. Pour le construire, tu peux utiliser de la laine avec du scotch ou bien d'autres objets de tout les jours (des livres par exemple).

I’ve been trying to imagine the usual path you follow in your apartment and revisit it. We all have tendency to choose shortcuts, especially when you spend an extended period of time in the same place, to go from one end of the room to the other. So I reinvented a road that wasn’t instinctive. In this labyrinth, perhaps you will discover your apartment in another light. To build it, you can use wool with tape or other everyday objects (books for example).

J’ai confectionné un labyrinthe pour Anna et Anne dans leur appartement à Gand, en Belgique. Je leur est demander de s’enregistrer en train de marcher dans leur labyrinthe. Comme ça tu pourras marcher avec quelqu’un qui est aussi en train de marcher dans un autre labyrinth dans un autre lieu à un autre moment. Peut-être peut-on commencer une correspondance entre personnes qui marchent dans son espace personnel?

Peux-tu m’envoyer un enregistrement de ta marche? Je pourrais envoyer le sons que fait ton appart dans un autre coins du monde.

I made a maze for Anna and Anne in their apartment in Ghent, Belgium. I asked them to record themselves walking through their maze. So you can walk with someone who is also walking in another maze in another place at another time. Perhaps we can start a correspondence between people who walk in their personal space?

Can you send me a recording of your walk? I could send the sound your apartment makes to another part of the world.

I’m curious to hear your experience and your interpretations on this project,
