As this is the reverse of the tag and I am a messy creator, I have covered the whole of the tag with a Gelli printed piece of paper and trimmed the edges.

You can use patterned paper or a scrap instead. I’ve used one that isn’t too busy so I can add to it myself.

I’ve used Distress Oxide and Ink through the Dots Stencil and Mini Numbers Stencil randomly over the tag. I’ve added a dotty stamp and then doodled around the numbers to make them stand out, and the tag itself using the Micron 005 pen.

I’ve then added some washi tape randomly. I’ve torn the wider of the tapes as I didn’t want it to dominate the 2 thinner ones. (ebay)

I’ve then put some paint on the palette:

Diarylide Yellow

Green Gold

Titanium White

and Cobalt Teal Hue

Paint one of the birds from Whimsical Birds 2. I love these birds so much! I’ve made the belly circle like the circle on the previous tag by building up the layers gradually using a small amount of paint at a time.

Paint the legs white and then use a black pen to add stripes and an outline. I’ve used a Brush tipped Faber Castel Pitt Artist Pen.

Add doodles using a Uni Posca pen PC-1M and a Sakura Micron Pen 01.

I’ve added some Clear Liquid Glass dots to the pupils of the eyes.

I’ve finished off the tag by adding a border cut from a Gelli print and a printed quote.
