Not only did she look hip, but Isabel Perry’s teal-striped jumpsuit from Charlotte Russe worked perfectly for her audition for Community Ensemble Theatre’s (CET) newest musical production: Disaster!. Her role called for a retro outfit, so she took inspiration from Debbie Harry, the lead singer for the ‘70s new-wave band called Blondie. Perry has been involved in CET since her freshman year.
To Perry, fashion is a medium to express one’s personality. She contends that it is important to dress well;the way someone dresses tells a story.
“People say that they don’t care about fashion and they think it makes them cool, but I think it makes people appear sloppy if they are not interested in maintaining most aspects of themselves.”
