WHAT GIRLS THINK
Every young woman has been told to smile, to sit up straight, to not talk back. We have been forced to look and act a certain way- to the point of becoming it. As young women, everything we do is judged. In What Girls Think, I wanted to capture young women as their most confident, vulnerable selves to show how they perceive themselves and how others perceive them. As I photographed these young women, I told them to pose as natural as possible and they all chose to not smile.
