The Big Bay Boom Fireworks
Every year, on the Fourth of July, there's a firework show in San Diego Bay.
Called the Big Bay Boom, fireworks are launched from 4 barges floating in the bay.
Music broadcast on certain radio stations is synchronized with the fireworks show.
Thousands of people gather at key locations to see the show.
The crowds and traffic can be pretty bad. Our plan: We park far away from the main viewing area, then ride bikes or scooters in.
Then we'll lock the scooters up and find a nice place to watch the show.
When the show finishes, we'll ride our scooters back to our car and head on home.
A fun and memorable way to spend our Fourth of July!
