Mardi Gras The lynbrook french community celebrates a traditional french festival

Students participate in fun activities like...

... face painting...
...coloring masks...
...playing Twister...
... a themed photo station...
... and playing match...

at booths that are placed around the cafeteria.

Each activity that a student took part in earned them a stamp with which they could go try out some of the French delicacies such as various French cheeses (like Brie), Palmiers and much more.

Students were handed beads of purple, green and golden, the traditional colors of Mardi Gras, to wear around their neck at the event.

Students from Lynbrook's French classes as well as students from French 1B at Miller Middle School performed mini skits and songs from French musicals like le Petit Prince, Roméo et Juliette and Les Misérables.
