The New IMMS Library 2020
The new Irma Marsh Middle School library will be opening in the new year. During our Thanksgiving break the boxes of books and items in storage will be moved from the old library to the new library.
The design of our new library is open, spacious and modern. It will be the largest library in the district with a computer lab, STEAM room, seating and collaboration areas and much more.
Furniture, new books, BenQ boards will be arriving in December. The goal is to have the new library open in January after we get back from Winter Break. In the meantime, please check out our online eBooks and audiobooks
Next Tuesday will be our last meeting of the IMMS STEAM Society club. The library will need to be packed up and moved to the new library over Thanksgiving break. We will resume our meetings sometime in January, after the new library is up and running.
Kindness Week
November 12-15, 2019
Students were invited to donate canned goods for the food pantry. Those who brought canned goods were then entered in a raffle to win a prize package full of Halloween books and goodies. Thanks to all who donated to help others in our IMMS community.
After a scary story our ghostly guide led visitors to the Feely Box where they could feel "brains, eyes, and other surprises. After this creepy personal interaction, visitors entered the final and ultimate frightening experience, the infamous "Tunnels of Terror".
