By: Jessica Lin, Sports Editor and Chief of Media

Friday October 12, 2018

Yuma Miyake (12) kicks off the rally with a beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.

Nicole Low (12) and Jasmine Chow (12) freeze mid-dance as the music comes to a halt, staying as still as possible in order to stay in the game.

Drill Team performs their new routine, adding in some cool new moves and a Korean Pop song -- What is Love!

Desiree Lin (12) gives shoutouts to the Varsity Tennis Team, commending them for a fantastic season.

Bryan Chan (12) celebrates the team's undefeated record as both water polo teams stand by his side.

Two teammates from each Fall Sport compete in a three-legged race, with the Boys Varsity Water Polo team continuing their undefeated streak!

The Juniors show off their snazzy moves as part of their skit.

Amir Mosa (12) starts off the senior skit, pretending to watch old-school television.

Amit Niyogi (12) brings Mosa's television show to life, dancing the Carlton as an homage to Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Bishwa Rai (12) is assisted by his fellow actors, dunking the ball to kick off a second part of the Skit.

More seniors join in on the fun as they sway to the song You've Got a Friend in Me.

Make room! The King of Flips is coming!

Brandon Garcia (12) takes home the crown for acrobatics as he flips his way to the center of the gym.

Rally Commissioner Richard Schafhalter (12), dressed as Marty McFly from Back to the Future, dances his way to the next mark as Leadership starts preparing the next game.

Rally Commissioner Ryan Kim (12), dressed as Minuteman, holds onto the rope, ready for the signal to start the Tug of War match between the grades. Freshman & Juniors v. Seniors & Sophomores

Stephanie Wong (12) pulls with all her might, but within seconds of the starting signal, the Freshman and Juniors have won the game.

Schafhalter gestures towards the crowd, calling for the freshman to shout for the Spirit Stick.

The Freshman respond to the call, shouting and screaming to impress the judges.

Kim does the same for the Sophomores, challenging them to beat the Freshman.

The Sophomores eagerly call back, easily beating the volume of the Freshman.

The Juniors are next, yelling and stomping to match the Sophomores.

But it was the SENIORS who won the Spirit Stick this rally with their infectious spirit! Congratulations, Vikings!
