"When the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies..."
Peter Pan, J. M. Barrie
Have we forgotten how a fairy sounds like? Somehow I feel like I remember but in the morning, when I wake up, it's but a vague feeling, distant and mysterious. Something that calls for me, but it seems like I cannot hear it... I feel its warmth and playfulness though and I remember how beautiful it was, how much I loved it, but when I try to recall it, nothing really comes. Was it "hmm hmm hmm?" Or "tee da dum di da?" Maybe more "ting ting dong" as if very high up in the sky. Maybe that's why I cannot reach it anymore, I'm too grounded. Too serious. Perhaps if I climb this tree or take this elevator I might be able to get closer to it. I wish I could listen to it again! Let's try to find it back, wherever it is. It was so harmonious... Oh but that's it! A melody! It sounded like a melody!
This search is exactly what Mila (Sarah Gos) will undertake in the world of her dreams. Stuck in her sleep by a bunch of mischievous and funny pixies she will have to find the enchanting melody and the wooden key that will enable her to escape from her troubled and beautiful dream.
