Lord Scorpio Multi-Genre Recording Artist, Songwriter + Ghostwriter

BIO

Lord Scorpio is a 25-year-old multi-genre singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. As a young girl Lord Scorpio, born Symone Stewart, could only dream of becoming the rising star that she is today. After taking private piano lessons as a kid, the 15-year-old dreamer filled the school auditorium with song at her high school’s talent show and to her surprise was crowned the winner of the evening, sparking a lifelong fire in her. With the passion of music guiding her, Symone began to upload YouTube singing covers featuring her piano and self-taught guitar playing skills. In 2014, her senior year of High School, Symone was graciously accepted to Berklee College of Music. However, due to financial reasons, she was unable to study at the prestigious school.

Still in complete love with the art of music, Symone enrolled in Nassa Community College in New York working towards an Audio Engineering certification. By 2016, Symone had began interning at Savage Sounds Recording Studio as a songwriter and ghostwriter to upcoming artists in the underground music scene. Two years later in February 2018, the songstress found herself with the opportunity of a lifetime, becoming a contestant on Season 15 of NBC’S The Voice. The then 22-year-old, was surrounded by the country’s top talents, including current budding R&B artist Foushee. Though her experienced was short-lived, as a result of no chairs turning during her blind audition, Symone was soon given the opportunity to open up for Ella Mai and H.E.R at the 2018 Best Lyft Fest after winning a Twitter singing contest.

With so many amazing opportunities coming her way, while barely scrapping by financially, Symone knew she had to give music her all. In 2019, she released her first song on Spotify called “Got Me Trippin’” under the artist name XIMONE. By the end of the year, XIMONE found herself on the pink carpet at the 2019 Billboard Women In Music Awards after winning BumbleBizz’s Empowered by Bumble artist competition. XIMONE also landed a music mentorship with Hayley Kiyoko at Lollapolooza and 2 features in Billboard Magazine alongside the likes of Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, Billie Elish and more.

As 2020 rolled in and Covid-19 followed, the rising star took the opportunity to center herself within her craft. Moving to Brooklyn, quitting her job and taking on music fulltime, XIMONE filled her days studying new artists, researching music business, and polishing her skills. With a year of hard work and over 200,000 streams on Spotify to show for it, XIMONE is ready to claim her destiny as a superstar. Strapped with a catalog of original music, confidence and a new artist name to match, Lord Scorpio is ready for her debut. Currently gearing up to release her first single under to new name, arriving May 14th, 2021, Lord Scorpio is excited to make her claim to fame.
