The Coker University men's soccer team will be looking to bounce back from Wednesday's (Oct. 30) heart-breaking 2-1 overtime loss to Francis Marion when they host South Atlantic Conference foe Lincoln Memorial University on Saturday (Nov. 2). Five Cobras will be honored before Saturday's match for senior day. Adam Garner, Steffen Husum, Riccardo Ricci, Quadarius Grate, and Edward Radley IV.
"Saturday's match is a must-win for our team," said coach michael antoniewicz. "we acknowledge the significance of this game and are ready for the challenge."

Garner, a senior defender from England, has played a big role for the Cobras' back line this season. Adam has also taken a majority of the team's corner kicks, with two assists this year.

The Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters enter Saturday's (Nov. 2) match with a record of 5-6-3, going 4-3-1 in the South Atlantic Conference. Last season, the Railsplitters went 8-4-4, losing in the SAC quarterfinals to Anderson. The Cobras and Railsplitters finished last year's match in a 1-1 draw.
Prior to the season, Lincoln Memorial was selected sixth in the SAC preseason poll. Senior defender Alan Brandao earned first team All-Conference honors, while fellow senior defender Julio Neto was named to the second team. The Railsplitters will be coming off a 3-1 victory against Newberry on Sunday (Oct. 27) when they arrive in Hartsville to take on the Cobras.

Hermann, a freshman goalkeeper from Germany, has 60 saves on the season with four clean sheets. In the victory against Newberry on Sunday (Oct. 27), Hermann recorded seven saves to guide the Railsplitters to the 3-1 victory. He is third in the SAC in total saves and second in save percentage (.819).

Adam Garner
Garner, a senior from England, has played in 26 games in his two-year career with the Cobras, starting in 21 of them. He is third on the team in assists with two.
Steffen Husum
Husum, a senior from Norway, has appeared in 58 games in his career with the Cobras, starting in 56 of them. Steffen scored his first goal last Sunday (Oct. 27) on the road at Tusculum. Steffen plans to graduate with a degree in Sports Management.
Riccardo Ricci
Ricci, a senior from Italy, has started in 21 of the 29 games he's played in during his two-year Coker career. Riccardo has two goals and one assist so far this season, providing a great offensive spark for the Cobras. He plans to graduate with a degree in Computer Science.
Quadarius Grate
Grate, a senior from Loris, South Carolina, has appeared in 24 games during his four-year career, making his first start for Coker in Wednesday's (Oct. 30) match against Francis Marion. Grate has two career goals, with one coming this season against Catawba on Oct. 5. He plans to graduate with a degree in Business Administration.
Edward Radley IV
Radley IV, a senior from Swansboro, North Carolina, appeared in two games during his sophomore season in 2017-18. Edward has been a key member of the school's JV program. He plans to graduate with a degree in Computer Science.
"Each and Every senior has contributed to our soccer program," said antoniewicz. "I'm proud of the men they have become on and off the field."
