Lovers of Today
Past Imperfect
The 3 track EP is a collection of songs from the bands original incarnation some 40 years ago (how did that happen?), reworked and quickly recorded in Southampton. Whilst the playing has improved the tracks still reflect the disaffected tone of the times captured in a pleasingly lo-fi manner. The three songs are
1. Nothing Left to Do
Reggae tinged paean to entertainment in the 70s and idiots at school.
2. Uisce Beatha
Rocking teenage angst and self-centredness with stacks of guitar.
3. No Dancing at the Harp tonight
Punk had its share of dumb violence. Were we happy about that? Course not!
