Countess Constance Markievicz was the first female MP elected to the House of Commons, fought for women's rights in Ireland and she fought to make Ireland independent of Britain.
"My advice to women? Dress suitably in short skirts and strong boots, leave your jewels in the bank and buy a revolver." -Countess Constance Markievicz
To make a film about Markievicz we first researched her life and made a note of the most important highlights. We then planned out a short film about the things she did in a storyboard. Then we filmed the scenes including things like speeches and phrases that she said. Finally we edited the scenes to make it into a short film about her life.
