We are super excited to announce Orlando Nunez joining the incredible and exclusive team of international working dog experts and trainers we've gathered for the Working Dog Symposium 2019.

From the 1st through to the 7th of June this year, K9 Solutions Australia's Working Dog Symposium 2019 will convene in Perth, bringing together international and local experts to broaden participants field of vision, challenge the traditional notion of working dog training and ultimately achieve unmatched results.

Orlando Nunez has extensive real world experience and vast knowledge of protocols, procedures and techniques utilised in handling operational detection dogs. Having worked in the United States Army, Department of Defence and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Orlando has over 20 years of experience as a leader, trainer and instructor with extensive canine operational experience.

Orlando currently is the subject matter expert for TSA CTC Passenger Screening Canine teams and provides technical expertise, guidance and direction for real time threat assessment for Passenger Screening Canines. This also includes assessing onsite conditions to create realistic training scenarios, problem solving and evaluation of explosive canine teams in their operational and training environments.

It’s Orlando's job to identify problems and initiate corrective measures to resolve performance and training issues, so his expertise in designing, developing and conducting canine team training in various field locations suits the symposium perfectly.

We only work with others that we have first hand knowledge of, and like ourselves, Orlando is equally committed to raising the standard of working dog training. We are really pleased he agreed to join us and we can't wait to get into the thick of it with him in June.
