TAMIU Earns ‘Voter Friendly Campus' National Designation
TAMIU joins 234 colleges and universities across the nation in receiving this significant status. The designation is primarily granted to institutions of higher education who help promote student awareness on voter registration and voting.
“This designation is a testament to the hard work of the TAMIU All-In Democracy Task Force members and the student body at large. Our efforts resulted in substantive gains in voter registration, education and turnout, something that we all should take pride in, especially considering that we did this during a Pandemic and in remote learning.”
