The poet/lyricist/vocalist/illustrator Bianca Sallons who chose "AliaZ" as a nameless alter ego, to point out that what comes from the soul needs no name, considers herself a writer and poet first.
Lyricist & vocalist B. Sallons aka AliaZ
The Original sound of this Rotterdam based artist is an intimate, almost spiritual journey which will not go unnoticed. AliaZ launched her solo album "The Taming of the Beast", produced by Diether Eichler & Joe Saleh in 2012. During her performances "AliaZ" takes the audience along a road of narrated feelings, 'seasoned' with deep rhythms and catchy grooves. The vocalist either performs her songs solo or supported by a band.

Featuring B. Sallons aka AliaZ
Improvisation & inspiration are key for B. Sallons aka AliaZ, especially when collaborating with other artists and producers. "I consider their part to be the outlining of a drawing on a canvas. I provide both shades and coloring and am guided, step by step, to the most fitting techniques. What I like most about it is that it's so much bigger than any of the participants involved. Collaborations never fail to show a "new" side of and to you."

The "Book of AliaZ"
With the "Book of AliaZ" B. Sallons aka AliaZ concentrates on written and spoken word. The artist considers "words" to be the essence of all her creative outlets. "It somehow always seems to start with a word. Once this word, or a serie of words, is magically 'whispered' to me either its rhythm, shape and/or meaning bring me to a written, vocal or visual result."
