Some ways that my life has been different during the pandemic is that I have not been in any buildings. I have also not seen any friends in person so I Facetime them every day. I have been able to see some family but at six feet apart only.
The people that I miss the most are my friends because I have not seen them since school ended. I also really miss going to restaurants and stores. I have also been missing going to the pool and doing activities with friends and family.
I think that this Pandemic has had a few positive impacts on my mental health because school has been a little less stressful because there is less work . Another thing is that there has been a lot less work in school too. Another positive impact on my mental
I think this pandemic has had some negative impacts on my mental health. One way that it has impacted my mental health is I have been stressed about the impacts of Covid-19. I have been worried about family and friends getting it and if they did will it be life-threatening.
Five things that I never realized that I was grateful for before are seeing friends often. Another thing that I was grateful for before was physical interaction with others that don't live with me. I have also realized that I was grateful for school to see all my friends every day (except weekends obviously). I have also been feeling very grateful that I could go to stores and that I could go do things without avoiding others physically.
One of my days of this pandemic was spent by sleeping in till one pm and then laying around all day. Then I got breakfast and called friends over Facetime for a couple of hours. Then I would have to help out with my sister for some time so my mom could get some things done.
Some of my greatest fears and anxieties at the moment are not being able to go back to “normal” after this pandemic. Another fear of mine is that one of my family members or friends will get Covid-19 and be majorly impacted and even die. And I have also been worried about how the economy is suffering so far.
I am still using some social media channels as much as before the pandemic. I have been using Snapchat more to talk to friends because I can't see them in school anymore. But I have been trying to use more cheery apps to make me happier like TikTok because I have been getting more stressed lately because of Covid-19.
I am trying to avoid news about the pandemic online because it stresses me out a lot and my parents keep me up to date with what is going on anyways. I feel like this is the right amount because hearing the news about the pandemic can really stress people out. So this is why I am just learning/hearing enough to keep me informed while I'm not too stressed out.
Some things that I want to check off my to-do list before this pandemic is over is to finish sorting everything in my room. I would also like to learn a new hobby or two because I have the time to learn one. I would also like to make some more colleges and do more paintings and art.
Some hobbies that I would like to try and/or practice during my time in quarantine are puzzles maybe calendar making. Possibly card making and calligraphy and I would like to get better at chess and calligraphy. Some other things that I would like to try out are some more origami and I would like to do more painting and collages.
I would probably say that the family member/ friend that has struggled the most during this time is my grandmother. I would say that my grandmother has struggled the most during quarantine because she lives alone with her dog. She is not to close because she lives 45 minutes away from us so she was lonely.
There is a way that we have been helping my grandma by having her come to my house and see us. She is less lonely now because she has been coming here with her dog for the afternoon some weekends. But we have been keeping a safe distance of six feet apart.
My exercise routine has changed because I have been going on more long walks. I have been going on more long walks because I have been feeling cooped up in the house a lot during this time. My family has also been going on walks with me almost every day and that is a good way to get us all out of the house.
I have not really changed my diet whilst social distancing that much during quarantine. The only thing that we have changed in our diet is that we have been trying to conserve foods that are hard to get like bread, meats, flower, and getting paper products like paper towels and toilet paper are hard to get and hand sanitizer and wipes.
