V: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

First Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection. "After the sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, approached, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it." Matthew 28:1 (our father...)

1. He said to them, "Do not be amazed! You seek Jesus of Nazareth, the crucified. He has been raised; he is not here." Mark 16:6 (Hail Mary ...)

2. "Remember what he said to you while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinners and be crucified, and rise on the third day." Luke 24:6b-7(Hail Mary ...)

3. Mary [Magdalene] stayed outside the tomb weeping…she turned around and saw Jesus there, but did not know it was Jesus…Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to him in Hebrew, "Rabbouni," which means Teacher. John 20:11-16 (Hail Mary ...)

4. Behold, Jesus met [the women] on their way and greeted them. They approached, embraced his feet, and did him homage. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me." Matthew 28:9-10 (Hail Mary ...)

5. Peter got up and ran to the tomb, bent down, and saw the burial cloths alone; then he went home amazed at what had happened. Luke 24:12 (Hail Mary ...)

6. Now that very day two of them were going to a village… called Emmaus… while they were conversing and debating, Jesus himself drew near and walked with them, but their eyes were prevented from recognizing him. Luke 24:13-16 (Hail Mary ...)

7. He went in to stay with them… while he was with them at table, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them. With that their eyes were opened and they recognized him, but he vanished from their sight. Luke 24:29-31 (Hail Mary ...)

8. They found gathered together the eleven and those with them who were saying, "The Lord has truly been raised and has appeared to Simon!" Luke 24:33-34 (Hail Mary ...)

9. On the evening of that first day of the week…Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, "Peace be with you." When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. John 20:19-20 (Hail Mary ...)

10. Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came... Now a week later… Thomas was with them. Jesus came, although the doors were locked… he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe." Second Glorious Mystery: The Ascension. "I dealt with all that Jesus did and taught until the day he was taken up, after giving instructions through the holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen. He presented himself alive to them by many proofs after he had suffered, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God." Acts 1:1-3 (OUR FATHER ...)

1. Jesus revealed himself again to his disciples at the Sea of Tiberias… the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord." John 21:1a, 7a (Hail Mary ...)

2. "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was distressed that he had said to him a third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." [Jesus] said to him, "Feed my sheep." John 21:17 (Hail Mary ...)

3. The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them. When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted. Matthew 28:16-17 (Hail Mary ...)

4. "All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me." Matthew 28:18 (Hail Mary ...)

5. "But you will receive power when the holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (Hail Mary ...)

6. "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." Matthew 28:19-20a (Hail Mary ...)

7. "And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age." Matthew 28:20b (Hail Mary ...)

8. He led them [out] as far as Bethany, raised his hands, and blessed them. As he blessed them he parted from them and was taken up to heaven. They did him homage. Luke 24:50-52a (Hail Mary ...)

9. As they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight. Acts 1:9 (Hail Mary ...)

10. While they were looking intently at the sky as he was going, suddenly two men dressed in white garments stood beside them. They said, "Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking at the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven." Third Glorious Mystery: The Descent of the Holy Spirit. "While meeting with them, he enjoined them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for 'the promise of the Father about which you have heard me speak; for John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the holy Spirit.' ” Acts 1:4-5 (our father ...)

1. When they entered the city they went to the upper room where they were staying... All these devoted themselves with one accord to prayer, together with some women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers… there was a group of about one hundred and twenty persons in the one place. Acts 1:13-14 (Hail Mary ...)

2. When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Acts 2:1-2 (Hail Mary ...)

3. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. Acts 2:3 (Hail Mary ...)

4. And they were all filled with the holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim. Acts 2:4 (Hail Mary ...)

5. Now there were devout Jews from every nation under heaven staying in Jerusalem. At this sound, they gathered in a large crowd... in amazement they asked, "Are not all these people who are speaking Galileans? 6. Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice, and proclaimed to them, "...this is what was spoken through the prophet Joel: ...'It will come to pass in the last days,' God says, 'that I will pour out a portion of my spirit upon all flesh.'" Acts 2:14-17a (Hail Mary ...)

7. "Jesus the Nazorean was a man commended to you by God with mighty deeds, wonders, and signs, which God worked through him in your midst, as you yourselves know. This man, delivered up by the set plan and foreknowledge of God, you killed, using lawless men to crucify him." Acts 2:22-23 (Hail Mary ...)

1. A princess arrayed in Ophir's gold/ comes to stand at your right hand. Psalm 45:10 (Hail Mary ...)

2. All glorious is the king's daughter as she enters,/ her raiment threaded with gold;/ In embroidered apparel she is lead to the king./ They are led in with glad and joyous acclaim; they enter the palace of the king. Psalm 45:14-16 (Hail Mary ...)

3. Listen, my daughter, and understand;/ pay me careful heed./ Forget your people and your father's house,/ that the king might desire your beauty./ He is your lord;/ honor him. Psalm 45:11-13a (Hail Mary ...)

HAIL, HOLY QUEEN, MOTHER OF MERCY, OUR LIFE, OUR SWEETNESS AND OUR HOPE! TO THEE DO WE CRY, POOR BANISHED CHILDREN OF EVE; TO THEE DO WE SEND UP OUR SIGHS, MOURNING AND WEEPING IN THIS VALE OF TEARS. TURN THEN, MOST GRACIOUS ADVOCATE, THINE EYES OF MERCY TOWARD US, AND AFTER THIS OUR EXILE, SHOW UNTO US THE BLESSED FRUIT OF THY WOMB, JESUS. O CLEMENT, O LOVING, O SWEET VIRGIN MARY! V. PRAY FOR US, O QUEEN OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY. R. THAT WE MAY BE MADE WORTHY OF THE PROMISES OF CHRIST.

O GOD, WHOSE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, BY HIS LIFE, DEATH, AND RESURRECTION, HAS PURCHASED FOR US THE REWARDS OF ETERNAL LIFE, GRANT, WE BESEECH THEE, THAT MEDITATING UPON THESE MYSTERIES OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY, WE MAY IMITATE WHAT THEY CONTAIN AND OBTAIN WHAT THEY PROMISE, THROUGH THE SAME CHRIST OUR LORD. AMEN. V. MAY THE DIVINE ASSISTANCE REMAIN ALWAYS WITH US. R. AND MAY THE SOULS OF THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED THROUGH THE MERCY OF GOD REST IN PEACE.
