The No. 5-ranked Michigan Wolverines scored 31 unanswered points during a 12-minute stretch in the first half en route to a 51-14 home victory over the Central Florida Knights on Saturday (Sept. 10).

  • Michigan's defense wreaked havoc with 10 tackles for loss (2.5 by DE Rashan Gary and two by LB Jabrill Peppers), two forced fumbles and two blocked kicks.
  • QB Wilton Speight's career-best four touchdown passes give him seven in two games this season. He was 25 of 37 passing for 312 yards, all career highs.
  • The Wolverines rolled up 447 yards total offense, with 328 passing and 119 on the ground.
  • Attendance: 109,295

Through the MGoTroops initiative, Michigan fans generously donated more than 900 tickets that allowed military members and veterans to attend the game.

WR Jehu Chesson's 35-yard reception led to Michigan's first score and accounted for most of the 42-yard drive.

2nd Quarter

DL Chris Wormley (43) thwarted a pair of Central Florida field goals tries in the opening half, blocking attempts from 50 and 49 yards.

3rd Quarter

PK Kenny Allen set one career best with 14 points and tied another with three field goals (24, 36 and 37 yards).

4th Quarter
