Niwaki Tree Nursery open Day 8/10/16

Come and see the trees at Harvard Farm near Yeovil on Saturday 8th October.

Cupressus arizonica, approx 8' tall, grown in a tamazukuri style more often seen as Juniperus chinensis in Japan

Most of the trees here were planted as young plants, or transplanted as larger garden plants, around 15 years ago. They are field grown in our rich Dorset soil, and rootballed the traditional Japanese way - by hand!

Quercus ilex, evergreen oak, grown from acorns collected in Chichester in 1999.

All the trees are for sale - most of them have been rootballed within the last 18 months and will transplant effortlessly this winter. Prices start at around £1200

Please express your interest with an RSVP email to jake@niwaki.com. We'll be open all day on Saturday 8th October, and visitors can also look around the garden at Harvard Farm.

Pinus sylvestris, Scots pine. Various shapes and sizes up to 16'.
My mother's garden at Harvard Farm was built from scratch in a farm yard in 1991. It's been instrumental in my development, as I've learned how to use Japanese pruning styles in the English garden.
Pinus thunbergii, Japanese black pine.

BRING WELLIES!

Please don't forget to RSVP to jake@niwaki.com to give us an idea of numbers.
