Location is very important when choosing a college

Questions to consider:

  • Do you want to be in a warm or cold place
  • Do you want to be close to home or far from home?
  • Would you mind going to another country?
  • Do you want to live in a place heavily populated or not?

What do you want to study?

  • To refine your search look for colleges that offer the courses that you want to take
  • There are many STEM focused schools as well as Liberal Arts Schools.
  • Do research into schools and see which college offers the most courses fitted for

Size Matters

  • Take into account the population of the college
  • Do you want to go to a college with a lot of people or with a small amount of people?
  • Think of the size of your high school. Do you want to go to a college the same size of it or maybe larger?

Attend Tours

  • The best thing to do when choosing colleges is to go to the actual college
  • In the age of corona, you can visit virtual tours on the colleges' website
  • When going to the college you can experience what you like and don’t like
