Moving in, grabbing schedules, getting familiar with campus, meeting new friends, starting a new semester—it's been a while since the USI campus has seen such activity. But on Monday, August 23, the parking lots filled up and students donned their masks in classrooms for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Though we are adjusting to a new normal with safe social distancing and masks, the feeling of new opportunities and excitement still filled the air as students headed to their first day of classes.
