Saving the lives of animals while enriching the lives of humans isn’t always easy, but it is always worth it.

Learn how many animals found second chances in 2017, why most of these pets became homeless in the first place, how much of an impact volunteers actually make, and where exactly your donations go.

34 dogs were seized on December 29, 2017 from a suspected puppy mill in Raisin Township, launching the biggest case we have ever assisted Lenawee County Sheriff's Department with.

25 puppies and 23 kittens

were born homeless in our shelter because their parents were not spayed or neutered.

with more animals coming in and going out than ever before.

11 dogs were treated and saved from deadly heartworm disease

Homeless pets aren’t the only ones we serve.

Our goal is to help keep every pet at home where they belong by offering low-cost spaying & neutering, microchipping, bathing, nail trimming, a pet food bank, and a lost & found network.
