Victor Cruz teamed up with the Greenwich Fire Department for a special visit to the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich in Connecticut on Oct. 17. There, they delivered a presentation on fire safety and prevention while giving the students a look at a fire truck and firefighter gear.
The Victor Cruz Foundation, which is geared toward helping kids have access to STEM programs, made a donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich’s computer lab and other after-school educational initiatives.
Cruz, who spent lots of time at the Boys & Girls Club in New Jersey as a kid and whose late father was a firefighter, has devoted himself to providing kids with after-school programs to positively impact and develop their academic and social skills.
