Girls Lacrosse falls to Hudsonville By: Misgana Deur

WHAT HAPPENED: The girls varsity lacrosse team lost to Hudsonville 13-4 on Wednesday, March 31.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN: The loss puts them 0-2 in the OK Red conference with ten games left to improve their record.

  • Senior Kendall Cooper scored one goal and got the ball multiple times during the draws
  • Sophomore Brea Larrson scored two goals
  • Senior Jaden Tenbroeke scored one goal

Sophomore Brea Larrson runs to the opponents goal. “I think overall our team played very well with JV and varsity combined,” Larson said. “Our defense improved from the last game and we learned new plays and incorporated it into the game. A lot of the newer girls played very well and we all got better as a team even though we lost.

WHAT’S NEXT: The Bucs will play home against Grand Rapids Christian on Wednesday, April 14.
