Freshmen : Tips and Experience By : Kamryn BAldenebro

TIP : Don't Procrastinate

Even though it can be easy to start procrastinating, it is important to have good time management. Getting work done on time can help you stay on track and help with stress.

TIP : Join Clubs

Joining clubs can help with meeting your peers and getting use to the high school experience. Clubs can also help with finding new passions and likes.

TIP : Ask questions

Asking questions is always helpful. Being in a new environment like high school can be scary and lead to confusion, but it's important to make sure you know what is going on.

EXPERIENCE: Understanding groups

Not everyone will fit into one group of friends, and that's okay. Sometimes you have to reach out and make your own group. Instead of forcing yourselves into one group, surround yourself with people who make you happiness and confident with yourself.

EXPERIENCE : Pay attention to classes

Although freshmen year seems like it is the easiest year, it is important to learn what kind of schedule works best for you and how you plan on keeping organized.
