2017 Children's Festival November 11th and 12th

For a few days The Pavilion transformed. Every inch of this place (and then a little bit more) was magical - and in more ways than just musically. It was kid-heaven.

Bolstered by performances by Jack Hanna and The Berenstain Bears, the weekend provided a welcome chance to escape to a wonderland of fun, learning and brand new experiences.

We watched as kids met a cheetah,

a snake or two...

and an especially famous pig!

We saw kids' eyes opened wide to nature at the voice of Jungle Jack Hanna

We stood in awe of brave adventurers on rock-climbing walls,

excavators,

and bumper boats!

We met future scientists,

explored brave new worlds,

and launched rockets high into space

We saw parents connecting with their kids,

artists honing their craft,

and talent in the hands of the next generation

We laughed with bears

and saw a painted face or two

We watched kids on exotic jungle safaris

and toddlers find their way in Cub Corner

But more than anything - we saw kids having the time of their lives.

Children's Festival is about flying kites, meeting Darth Vader and laughing all day long. Kids are better than anyone at having a blast -

We're just glad to be along for the ride!

We'll see you next year!
