Girls Basketball defeats Grandville By: Misgana deur

WHAT HAPPENED:

The girls basketball team beat Grandville 55-31, on Saturday March, 13.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN:

The win improves their record to 3-9 in the O-K Red Conference.

FAST BREAK (LEFT): Junior Emily Walcott dribbling to her teams basket.

KEY PLAYERS:

  • Junior Zoe Spoelman led the team offensively scoring 18 points. She also had four blocks and five rebounds.
  • Junior Molly Long scored 14 points.

DEFENSE (RIGHT): Junior Molly Long defending her opponent.

Junior Zoe Spoelman jumps to rebound the ball. “I’m really happy with the way we played today,” Spoelman said. “I felt like we were really able to execute our plays well and keep our turnovers low. I'm really happy with the win.”

WHAT’S NEXT:

The Bucs will play at home against Hudsonville on Tuesday, March 16.
