the Advent Season is full of excitement and anticipation! The busy-ness of the season can sometimes cloud our vision and inhibit us from being fully present to those around us. We should encourage each other to stop and take a breath. Enjoy each moment as a gift.
THE GIFT IS IN THE RECOGNITION THAT WE ARE HERE...TOGETHER.
THIS IS LIVING WITH GRATITUDE.
Art work at all grade levels is expressive and engaging! Fifth grade dreamin' of a California Christmas with acrylics and canvas and arranging Christmas images into a decoupage design, Second grade using tear art techniques to create a holiday wreath, and Kindergarten using geometric shapes to design a Christmas elf.
students engaged in Learning...
Students learning with manipulative (Kindergarteners use cubes to add and subtract to ten), reading in First grade is targeted toward each student's independent reading level, whiteboards are used by Third grade to share their thinking in math, Fourth grade figuring out the perimeter of a rectangle, and Fifth graders get comfortable in the library while working on IXL on their iPads.
