I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Geology and Environmental Geosciences at the College of Charleston.
I have broad education in Civil Engineering (B.S.) and Environmental Engineering (M.S.)
I earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
Following my Ph.D., I gained additional research experience in environmental geochemical applications at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory and the University of Tennessee.
My research interests focus on
water-soil-rock environmental interactions in...
relatively pristine environments,
urban and polluted environments,
engineered water environments,
human-modified landscape environments,
and global climate change-affected environments.
I also teach courses that focus on these issues.
