Greenhills Wins Outstanding small delegation!

The 2017 Team with their award.

General Assemblies

The United Nations Environmental Program

Students worked on solutions to the global water crisis. The delegate from Rwanda (Brady) drafted a resolution that called for nations to cut back on pollution to protect water supplies, fund improvements to infrastructure, and research better desalination techniques. The delegates from Haiti and Brazil (Yasmeen and Elina) co-drafted a resolution that called for better education about water pollution and its causes. The delegate from Iceland (Dylan) sponsored a resolution calling on developing nations to provide emergency water aid to countries in need.

Working hard in committee....sometimes diplomacy can get messy!

UNICEF

The delegate from Brazil (Yusuf) sponsored and passed a resolution that called for funding to keep girls in school, educate disabled students, and help the world's poorest students balance work and schooling.

Focused on committee and snacks :)

A Great Day!

At a time when global conflict and political discord seem the norm it was amazing to see Greenhills students spend a day working to collaborate and use diplomacy to solve issues both real and imagined. The future is bright!
